Meeting polls
When a group can't agree on a time, propose a few and let them vote. You pick the winner, and everyone who can make it gets an invitation.
Make a poll
Open Meeting polls in the sidebar and press New poll. Give it a title, a length and a place (Meet, Zoom or Teams links are made when you pick the time), then add between 2 and 10 times. You enter the times in your own time zone; each person sees them in theirs. You can have up to 20 polls at once.
Collect answers
Send the poll’s link to the people you want to hear from. They tick every time they could make, and give a name and an email address. They don’t need an account. Someone who can make none of the times can say so. Answering again with the same address replaces the earlier answer, up to the moment you pick a time.
People see how many have ticked each time, but not who. You see everyone: a table of names and addresses against the times. Up to 100 people can answer one poll. You can stop taking answers, and start again, without picking a time.
Pick the time
Press Pick this under a time and confirm. CalFree checks that you are free then (no booking, no other poll, nothing on a connected calendar), puts everyone who ticked it on one calendar event on your calendar, and emails them an invitation. People who answered but hadn’t ticked that time are told which time was picked. The time then counts as taken on your booking pages, even if you have no calendar connected.
Call off the meeting removes the event and tells the people who were going. Deleting a poll with a chosen time does the same first.
What polls are not
A poll is for one meeting with a group, so the chosen time is not a booking: it doesn’t appear on the Bookings page or in analytics, and it sends no webhook. There is no maybe, no reminders, and no way yet to move a chosen time: call it off and make another.
