1. Who you are agreeing with
These terms are between you and CalFree (“we”, “us”) (“CalFree”), who runs the service at calfree.dev. By creating an account or booking a meeting through it, you accept them.
2. Your account
You need a working email address, and you are responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your sign-in email secure: anyone who can read it can sign in as you. API keys act with your full access, so treat them as passwords — create one per integration and revoke any you no longer use.
You must be at least 16 to hold an account.
3. What we provide
A booking page, unlimited event types, email notifications, optional Google and Outlook calendar sync, meeting links, meeting polls, routing forms, teams, a REST API and an MCP server. The free plan costs nothing; Pro and Teams add extras for a fee, as described on the pricing page. We will not move a feature that works on the free plan today behind a payment.
We may change, add to or withdraw features. If a change removes something you rely on, we will say so in advance by email where we reasonably can.
4. Plans, billing and payments
Paid plans. Pro (one person) and Teams (a team, charged per seat) are subscriptions that renew each month or year until cancelled. Prices are on the pricing page. Both start with a 14-day trial: you enter a card to begin, and it is charged when the trial ends unless you cancel first.
Who bills you. Subscriptions are sold by Dodo Payments as merchant of record. It takes your card, charges any tax that applies and sends your receipts; CalFree never sees your card number. Its own terms apply to the payment.
Cancelling. Cancel from Settings → Plan and billing. You keep the plan until the end of the period you have paid for, then the account returns to Free. Nothing is deleted, and what needs a plan is paused until you subscribe again. If a payment fails, the plan ends after the provider’s retries and the account returns to Free in the same way.
Price changes. If a price changes, it applies from your next renewal, and we will tell you by email beforehand.
5. Acceptable use
Don’t use CalFree to:
- Send unsolicited bulk email, or collect addresses in order to.
- Impersonate someone else, or set up a page designed to mislead people about who they are meeting.
- Harass, threaten or deceive the people who book with you, or anyone else.
- Break the law, or infringe anyone’s rights, in your jurisdiction or ours.
- Collect sensitive personal data through booking questions without a lawful basis and the invitee’s understanding.
- Probe, scrape or overload the service, evade rate limits, or try to reach data that is not yours.
- Resell access, or run the service as your own product.
- Use paid bookings to sell anything unlawful, or anything your payment provider does not allow.
Automated use is fine, and encouraged — that is what the API and the MCP server are for. Stay inside the documented rate limits.
6. Your content and your data
Your event types, descriptions, logo and the bookings made with you remain yours. You give us only the permission needed to host and display them in order to run the service.
When invitees book with you, you are the one deciding what to ask and why. If data-protection law applies to you, you are the controller of their data and we are your processor — see the DPA, which sets out how that works.
How we handle personal data is described in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
7. Availability
We aim to keep CalFree up and working, but there is no uptime guarantee. Maintenance, a provider outage or a bug can all interrupt the service. Treat a confirmed booking as the record, and note that if your calendar provider revokes access, CalFree stops accepting bookings rather than promise meetings it cannot put on your calendar.
8. Ending it
You can leave whenever you like. Deleting your account in Settings → Your data cancels your upcoming meetings — so your invitees are told and their calendar events removed — revokes calendar access at your provider, and deletes your data. It is immediate and cannot be undone. Export your data first if you want to keep it.
We can close an account that breaks section 5, or where we must in order to comply with the law. Except where something is actively harming people, we will warn you first and give you a chance to put it right and export your data.
9. No warranty
CalFree is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. You are responsible for checking that a meeting it scheduled is one you can actually attend.
10. Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, lost profit, lost business, or lost or corrupted data, arising from your use of CalFree. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of what you have paid us in the previous twelve months, or ten US dollars. If you are on the free plan, that is the latter.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that may not be limited by law.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes, and for anything that materially affects you we will email account holders before it takes effect. Continuing to use CalFree after that means you accept the new version.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where CalFree's operator is established, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, without affecting any right you have to bring a claim where you live.
